On this occasion, Mr. Fahd Al-Rasheed, Board Member and Chief Executive Officer of Emaar E.C., said:

The Industrial Valley will positively contribute to the overall Saudi Arabia economic development and provide 11 thousand core job opportunities once the first phase is completed. It will enable the attraction of foreign investments which will help diversify the Saudi economy."
Emaar, the Economic City has ensured the development of the required road networks to link the Industrial Valley with the port and other districts within King Abdullah Economic City as well as efficient connection to Jeddah-Madina highway. Moreover, it has developed a light industrial complex which consists of 20 industrial incubators in its first phase to enable first-time investors and small businesses establish their industrial operations rapidly and cost effectively.
Emaar, the Economic City is working on development of the Industrial Valley in phases, whilst phase 1A of 1.5 million Sqm is fully developed and ready for handover now. Another 4.3 million Sqm of area will be ready by 2012. Upon the completion of all phases in the Industrial Valley, the total size of the Industrial Valley will be 63 million Sqm and home to 2500 factories and will provide more than 150 thousand job opportunities.
