The new publication includes an Arabic language financial daily newspaper and a breaking news Web site - alrroya.com. This was made possible through the Publish live technology from KnowledgeView

The project was launched in a record 5 months, thanks to close cooperation between the I-media team and KnowledgeView's consultants and engineers. Publishing activities are conducted from two newsrooms in Dubai and Abu Dhabi that are linked over a secure Web, forming a single virtual newsroom. The two newsrooms were designed by KnowledgeView's architects to comply with Convergent Newsroom mode of work.

In addition, a comprehensive multi-publishing and archiving solution - PublishLive - from KnowledgeView, was supplied for publishing live news to paper (integrated with Adobe software), web and mobile. The advertising software was supplied from Summit and ERP software from Prosys systems, both partners of KnowledgeView.

Dr. Ali Al-Assam, CEO of KnowledgeView, said:
"A major factor for the success of the project is the vast experience in multi-publishing, including TV, of I-Media's management and editorial team. This made it possible to accomplish editorial change management for multi-publishing with relative ease. With a vision for engaging the consumer across related publishing platforms it was possible to plan for financial success despite these difficult times."

Mr. Mohammed Moumenine, CEO of I-Media said "We are confident that we can engage our readers with top quality financial news in ways not done before, taking advantage of KnowledgeView's technology and robust support."
