Rashed Al Ansari, Vice-President of Dubai Industrial City, said: "We are proud to announce the early completion of grading work for Phase-II. In keeping with our firm commitment to create a vibrant industrial destination, we have initiated appropriate measures to ensure investors gain possession of their designated plots and begin construction work as soon as possible.
"Work on the remaining segments of our project will also proceed as planned, as we streamline our efforts towards establishing a holistic manufacturing destination with the most modern facilities. Prioritising the grading work came in response to clients' desire to have early access to their plots in the second phase of Dubai Industrial City."
Al Ansari added:
"We expect to have 30 factories operating in Dubai Industrial City by end of 2009, some of them located in the second phase of the project. Our investors have production deadlines and commitment to their own suppliers and consequently we are keen to enable them to commence work on their factories. By meeting their expectation we have validated our sincere endeavour to shape an optimum enabling environment at the industrial township."
