Breen also briefly discussed the introduction of Premium Economy class on the Cairo-London route, with 50 inches of legroom is the most spacious in the sky.
"bmi is continuously striving to enhance and diversify its services, as we believe it is essential to constantly raise standards in the travel industry. This is essential for the development of the Egyptian route, and the aviation community, and is one of the reasons that Egypt continues to host some of the world's most prestigious airlines. By launching the A330 to Cairo we are making a statement about our commitment to Egypt and expanding at a time when the world feels the icy chill of the credit crunch. We pride ourselves on listening to what the customer wants, continuing to listen to their needs and responding to them. This is what makes bmi so different and dynamic"
said Breen.
Elhamy Al Zayat echoed Breen's sentiments, adding that the Egyptian government is always keen to improve services offered in Egyptian airports, whether or not this change comes from state owned airlines or not.
