Showcasing the numerous career opportunities on offer, Ajman Bank offered guidance on how young Emirati nationals can begin to prepare themselves for a career in banking. It encouraged students to partake in courses at the EIBFS, as well as informing them about internships and summer training opportunities. Students were also informed of the many incentives available once employed by the bank.
The focus on Emiratization at Ajman Bank stems from the perception of the workforce as one of its key asset, combined with its community banking approach. Investing time and resources into its staff is therefore central to its development and growth strategy, which it views as contributing to the overall good of the organisation and the UAE. The Bank not only encourages and offers opportunities to young Emiratis to make inroads into banking, but offers many other incentives which allow UAE nationals to train quickly on the job. These include on the job coaching and mentoring, opportunities for external training, fast tracking for those with exceptional abilities and annual merit increment and bonuses. It is for these attraction, motivation and retention schemes for UAE Nationals that Ajman Bank gladly received its certificate of appreciation from EIBFS.
Head of Emiratization at Ajman Bank - Fairouza Mohammed commented:
"At Ajman Bank we believe that our strength lies in our staff. By training and encouraging our staff properly, we can ensure everyone at Ajman Bank is working to the best of their ability. We will endeavour to develop ongoing relationship with senior government bodies, universities and colleges in order to uphold the recognition we have received from the EIBFS.
