E-Academy announces 10 cutting edge learning programs for leaders and HR professionals

The Etisalat Academy today announced its revamped skills development program for 2009, which will include ten new courses on leadership and HR best practice.

These courses will be delivered at the E-Academy's 'Centre for HR Consulting', which is the region's foremost hub of learning excellence for professionals in both the public and private sectors.

At the helm of the Etisalat Academy, David Brennan General Manager, affirmed:

"This year we have partnered with experts from around the world to supply internationally recognized certificates in leadership and human resources assessment and development. We are delighted to announce a world class calendar of career development and learning opportunities. This focuses our commitment to remain the foremost centre of learning excellence for professionals in the Middle East."


The Academy will launch these activities in collaboration with specialists and consultants from a plethora of reputable international HR companies headquartered in England, Australia and America.

Mariam Mohammed, Senior Manager of the Etisalat Academy's Centre for HR Consulting explained: "We understand the importance of developing an employee's skills across all sectors of the economy. We are dedicated to helping individuals and organizations to increase their efficacy in order to achieve business excellence."

During 2009 the Centre for HR Consulting will launch specialized programs and workshops focusing on Competency Systems: Assessment & Development Centers; Psychometric Occupational Psychology; Organizational Competency Frames; Job Description Analysis; and Competency Based interviewing skills.

Leadership and managing exceptional talent are key Business challenges which the Centre has addressed through these programs. Topics include leadership excellence; organizational psychology; productivity and profitability; emotional intelligence; and a workshop on skills management and development.

During the year 2008, the Centre for HR Consulting trained in excess of two hundred HR professionals from the public and private sectors in a variety of leadership skills with 50 tailor-made programs. The Centre also delivered skills development learning via conferences, workshops and seminars.

Participants reside within the one million square feet campus in Al Muhaisnah, Dubai during their training and hail from across the GCC, Egypt, Sudan and Libya.
