The first edition of the new look Zahrat Al Khaleej will hit newsstands on 28th March, and every Saturday thereafter.

Zahrat Al Khaleej, the region's longest standing magazine will be marking the milestone with a special anniversary edition reflecting on how the magazine has portrayed the lifestyles of the modern Arab family since 1979, as seen through the eyes of a host of stars, artists, singers and regional celebrities.

The success of the magazine, which is the leading lifestyle family magazine in the region, is attributed to the continuous evolution of the brand based on its readers' needs. Before implementing the 'refreshing' of the brand, Zahrat Al Khaleej conducted a comprehensive 12 month research, involving more than 28,000 readers, from across the region, identifying new trends and behaviour of its target audience.

In order to deliver enhanced more relevant content, the magazine has appointed a new line-up of reporters and columnists to complement the existing editorial team. Zahrat Al Khaleej will also be opening a new office in Saudi Arabia, enabling reporters to focus on key female and family issues in the Kingdom.

Zahrat Al Khaleej's Editor in Chief, Dr. Talal Tomeh, added:
"We are delighted that Zahrat al Khaleej boasts an unrivalled readership and commercial success. A recent survey of our readers showed that more than two thirds of respondents read all of the sections and almost all respondents said the magazine is read by several members of the family."

"Following the survey, we have listened to what our readers want and enhanced the fashion, beauty and health sections, which will also appeal to our growing fanbase of younger readers", added Dr. Tomeh.

Gavin Dickinson, Executive Director of Publishing, said: "Zahrat al Khaleej has been an essential part of the week for many families for over thirty years. The new content enhancement will maintain our long-standing relationships with our readers and advertisers and will leverage new opportunities to attract new ones."

"As we continue to attract new, younger readers, our commercial partners will also have the opportunity to engage new audiences across the full Abu Dhabi Media Company platform, especially driven from the new website we plan to launch when we unveil Zahrat Al Khaleej's new look ", concludes Dickinson.

Abu Dhabi Media Company will also be hosting a party, attended by celebrities, the media and VIPs, to mark the milestone on the 25th of March.
