Sorbonne Abu Dhabi cooperation with UAE ministry of foreign trade

Paris-Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi (PSUAD) represented by Pr. Jean-Yves de Cara, Administrative Director of the university and Dr. Mohammed AL Shehhi, Deputy Administrative Director paid a visit of courtesy yesterday to the Ministry of Foreign Trade, chaired by H.E. Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi.
The objective of PSUAD delegation visit was to discuss stronger future potential cooperation between the ministry and PSUAD in many areas. PSUAD delegation explained the opportunity of adding emphasis on the university master's program in International Law, Diplomacy and International Relations in its second year classes on special topics in International Trade Law.
Furthermore, the program would heighten expertise subjects in International Finance, Foreign Investment, International Competition, Intellectual Property Rights, International Contracts, and International Commercial arbitration.
The visit concluded with propositions of organizing a series of common workshops in relation to World Trade Organization (WTO) and International Trade Negotiations. Internship opportunities, for students and auditors in the ministry of Foreign Trade, were on the agenda of propositions.
Furthermore the delegation discussed future prospects of lectures organized at PSUAD, and carried out by the ministry of Foreign Trade.
Cooperation between lawyers and economists with the ministry comes to be key ingredient to be capitalized on, for the utmost success of such cooperation.
