Sage Software records GBP1.295m in global revenues for year ended September 2008

Sage Software, the leading global supplier of ERP, CRM, and HRM solutions to medium and large organizations, has announced that it has secured GBP1.295m in total global revenues for the year ended 30th September, 2008.
In line with this, Vikram Suri has been appointed as the Managing Director of Sage Software Middle East, who is taking major strides to promote growth not only in terms of revenues, but also with regard to partnerships and alliances as well as development of new products and technologies.
In line with its aims to become the top ERP, Accounting and CRM partner for regional SMBs, the company's Middle East arm is focused on providing real solutions to help companies achieve better returns on their investments, including new technologies that can boost their efficiency and competitive advantage.
Sage Software ME has grown strongly over the past year, successfully leveraging the existing solutions such as Sage ERP X3, CRM products and Sage AccPac ERP to build its market position. This year, Sage Software ME is planning to expand its current range of offerings to include solutions specifically designed for the manufacturing education and government sectors, and is also looking at exploring the opportunities within Iran and Syria for its non-US products.
"The current economic climate has made it more important for companies, especially those belonging to the SMB sector, to adopt technology-driven solutions that will help them secure respectable investment returns and sustain their operations amidst the challenges ahead," said Vikram Suri, Managing Director, Sage Software Middle East.

Sage Software has been primarily associated with accounting software; however, the last twenty years has witnessed the company's steady efforts to build a name in other areas, thereby resulting in a wide range of solutions to help businesses from front to back office.

Sage Software expects global revenues of GBP1.426m, according to reports published after the 3rd of December, 2008 for the year ending 30th of September, 2009.
