The main focus of the conference will be on the GCC's regulatory industry and provide participants with the opportunity to debate with regulators on the most significant topics and issues affecting the regional market. The attendees include the Governors of the GCC central banks and monetary agencies, heads of the GCC capital markets and senior bankers from Arab and international financial institutions.
The conference will debate subjects related to the latest global financial crisis and its impacts on different levels with a focus on the role of Islamic banks as an important player in this market. The participants will also research opportunities available for the Islamic banking industry amidst this crisis.
