CNS retains gold Cisco reseller status

  • United Arab Emirates: Sunday, March 22 - 2009 at 15:10
  • PRESS RELEASE

Cisco Gold Certified Partners have achieved the highest level of credibility and the broadest range of expertise across multiple technologies by achieving all of the following four advanced specializations: Unified Communications, Routing and Switching, Security, and Wireless LAN.

They have also integrated the deepest level of Cisco Lifecycle Services expertise into their offerings and demonstrate a measurably high level of customer satisfaction.

"This achievement is really recognition of the hard work and effort that every CNS employee has put into the Cisco business. We know we are not the only Cisco partner in the UAE and that all of our customers have a choice. 2008 was a year for investment at CNS so we are really expecting some major success in 2009 as we see our investments mature."

says Brian Perrins, Senior Marketing Manager at CNS.

"In our sales efforts during previous years we were really focused on the technology only which did not add much value to our customers if we were honest. Our future is not in transactional business where we chase every deal we can find but in working with our customers from a business perspective. This may seem like cheap talk but we created Dream in 2008 as an engagement methodology that is now enabling our sales and technical staff to talk at CIO/CEO level with a language that is more than feeds and speeds".

CNS anticipates that it will appeal to more customers who are looking at technology as a complete stack and as an enabler of competitive advantage; where creative solutions can be architected, engineered and implemented with broad considerations. CNS is creating relationships and alliances where knowledge can be shared and experience exploited.

"Our success in 2009 will come from a deliberate convergence of everything we are currently doing new to satisfy our customers. We have created clear vertical markets for industry focus, trained our sales force on non technical skills so that they are more business orientated, launched a major services product portfolio to future proof our customers investments and finally setup a Managed Services Practice to simplify ICT. This is just the start. Watch this space for CNS to be further innovators in this region. We are no longer the quiet entity we once were. Our relationships with Cisco and the other best-of-breed OEMs we represent are key to us but we must be making our own value in our customer's eyes to have a deserved place at the table".
