The awards were made by a panel of judges and the readership of the fast growing market news leader Telecom Deal Alert honoured the financial and business leadership across the Middle East.
TMT Finance and Investment Middle East is the annual regional conference which uniquely brings together the financial and strategic leadership of operating companies with bankers and financiers, law firms, professional consultancies and other critical intermediaries.
The winners announced at the ceremony were: Qtel - Telecom Deal of the Year together with JPMorgan and Citi, Credit Suisse - Telecom Bank of the year Middle East, Batelco - Fixed Line operator of the year, Etisalat - Wireless operator of the year, Qualcomm - Technology provider of the year, Eng Al-Dawees, CEO of STC won the CEO of the year award and Qtel won the Special Award for Outstanding Leadership in Telecom Innovation and Development.
Qatar Telecommunications (Qtel) was Patron of the event, which is researched and produced by consulting firm BroadGroup Clifford Chance LLP is the M&A Advisors Panel Sponsor.
