Al Samha Healthcare Center reiterates its commitment towards community healthcare, says Seha - AHS

The program is part of the initiative by Seha - AHS to bring expert and accessible medical and dental care at the community level within the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

The initial activity is targeted to the young population invited to the facility from "Ibn Sina" School for a dental hygiene check-up which was conducted on the 12th and 16th of March and will continue on March 19th, 23rd and 26th.

The Dentist In -charge, Dr. Abdul Naser Tamim along with his expert team at Al Samha Healthcare Center provide dental health diagnosis for the Emirati children through friendly and encouraging means. Also, an educational session was conducted through interacting with the children about the guidelines for taking proper care of the teeth and oral hygiene.

Outlining the importance of such Programs, Dr. Ninette Banday, Head of Dental Services AHS said, "The dental team categorized the children into three groups on the basis of their oral health status for review and follow-up; treatment management and specialty care. The children were also provided complimentary kids' dental care packages comprising toothbrushes and toothpaste and posters."

Al Samha Healthcare Center is planning to conduct many more such activities at its facility, summing up the plans for the initiative to increase the awareness of the community.
