Emiratisation top of the agenda at Careers UAE 2009
- United Arab Emirates: Monday, March 23 - 2009 at 14:43
- PRESS RELEASE
The announcement of the strategic partnership between Careers UAE and ershaad.ae is set to drive Emiratisation by providing a more comprehensive portfolio of services and also increase the support of Emiratisation and recruitment for top employers seeking UAE national talent.
Careers UAE remains the 'must attend' recruitment, training and education event exclusively for UAE Nationals and will open its doors from the 29 - 31 March at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Held in conjunction with Tanmia, Emirates Nationals Development Programme (ENDP), Higher Colleges of Technology, Zayed University and UAE University, it provides UAE Nationals with the opportunity to meet directly with recruiters and hiring managers from top local businesses.
"Careers UAE is the perfect platform and a key source for UAE job seekers. It gives them the opportunity to take their first step onto the careers ladder, and tap into further education and training opportunities, to enhance their skills. The partnership with Ershaad will enable all job seekers the opportunity to select their preferred company with a click of mouse," said Asma, Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), organiser of Careers UAE.
The partnership addresses the need to improve the latest technologies, which will enable a paperless CV admission process for this year's Careers UAE. For Careers UAE this year, job seekers will have the opportunity to pre-register their digital CV via ershaad.ae's 'eventrance'; a tool powered by www.ershaad.ae. This service allow job seekers to share their CV's with participating employers of their choice during the event.
Once the job seeker arrives at Careers UAE, employers will have the ability to access their CV's online via www.ershaad.ae . When the event has concluded participating employers will receive copies of all CV's which were submitted via ershaad.ae. Employers will be able to enjoy the benefits of digital CV's over hard copies such as accessibility, improved search ability and much more. This new approach will facilitate the process of employment and in turn generate better results for both job seekers and employers.
"Our partnership with Careers UAE today represents a key building block for the Emiratisation drive in both private and public sectors and we are very excited about the ability to offer such a productive tool to talented UAE nationals and employers this year," said Mohammad Qaddura, Chief Executive Officer, ershaad.ae.
The partnership also addresses the need to maintain a common and accessible database of UAE National Job seekers who attend Careers UAE year on year. This opportunity will also offer UAE National employers and job seekers a unique platform via www.ershaad.ae to execute full recruitment programmes all year round.
