President of Singapore meets with Capitala

Capitala welcomed His Excellency Mr S R Nathan, President of Singapore, during his visit to Abu Dhabi and briefed him on both the company and its maiden project Arzanah.

Capitala is a joint venture real estate company between Mubadala Development Company, an investment vehicle of the Government of Abu Dhabi, and CapitaLand, one of the largest real estate companies in Asia headquartered in Singapore.

Senior executives from Capitala and the joint venture partners CapitaLand and Mubadala held talks with Mr S R Nathan and his Ministerial entourage who were provided with an overview of Capitala's flagship development Arzanah - a 1.4m square metre fully integrated development encompassing residential, commercial, sports and leisure components, and an update on the construction progress of its first phase Rihan Heights. Strategically located at the gateway point to the island of Abu Dhabi in the Grand Mosque District, Arzanah is one of the few remaining parcels of prime real estate on Abu Dhabi island.

The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Board of Capitala Mr Carlos Obeid, Capitala's Acting CEO Mr Heang Fine Wong and Deputy CEO Mr Peter Wilding.
