Emarat to have a strong presence at the UAE Career Fair 2009

Emarat will be attending the exhibition through a wing that was especially designed in order to provide a comfortable venue for visitors, guests and UAE nationals who are looking for employment opportunities in leading institutions of the UAE.

Mr. Hussain Kazim, Manager Corporate Communications at Emarat, said that the aim of this participation is to attract national working forces and to help them take part in the huge development and expansion activities which are under way within all the Corporation's businesses in different investment sectors.

Mr. Kazim added that Emarat is highly aware of the importance of investing in human resources, especially national capabilities, as these are considered the real capital on which the realization of many aspirations depend.

The UAE Careers Fair is considered an opportunity to meet with university graduates and college students to discuss with them the opportunities available at the Corporation or its affiliate business units, and to compare the Corporation's needs with the students' capabilities in order to facilitate their joining procedures.

Mr. Kazim also stressed the Emarat takes into consideration the issue of developing national human resources and encouraging them to work at Emarat, which is in line with the federal government's goals and its strategic plan aiming to activate the role of nationals in the work market and social life so that they can become the leaders of key sectors.

This can be achieved through educating them, developing their skills, providing them with the required qualifications which are key in adapting to the fast changes in the community, in addition to raising their awareness of the role that awaits them in the UAE's development.

Emarat's wing, number C1-2 in Zaabeel Hall, will be attended daily by a group of executives from the Human Resources Department, who will meet with candidates, answer their enquiries and discuss the available opportunities with them. The wing will also be adequately furnished in a way that shall create a comfortable atmosphere, as it will be equipped with internet connected computers for a paper free environment.

Furthermore, interested applicants can apply for online job applications or application forms for suitable positions within the Corporation. Information about Emarat, recruitment procedures, salaries, bonuses and training courses will also be made available during the exhibition.
