3i Infotech expands in the Middle East, launches office in Riyadh

Global technology solutions and services provider, 3i Infotech, said that it has successfully launched its office in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.

Through the Riyadh office, 3i Infotech will now be able to provide extra impetus to the banking, financial services and insurance sectors. Riyadh and Jeddah are the hubs of banking and financial institutions with all the leading banks headquartered in these cities.

3i Infotech has doubled its revenues within three years in the Kingdom. The company recently bagged prestigious clients such as Al Fozan and the Zamil Group.

3i Infotech expects to continue to make rapid strides and in this direction it has appointed Amit Trigunayat as the new head of operations - Saudi Arabia.

Addressing a press meet in Jeddah, Mr. Pankaj Chawla, Chief Operating Officer, 3i Infotech - Middle East, Africa Russia & CIS (MEARC), said,

"It gives me immense pleasure to see 3i Infotech establishing its office in Riyadh and thereby reaching closer to customers. On-the-ground presence in Riyadh will certainly provide huge comfort to banks, financial institutions, mutual funds and insurance companies and also facilitate Government projects in the region"


Mr. Chawla added, "Our offerings are making deeper inroads in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the business is on a fast growth trajectory. To compliment all of these developments, I am happy to introduce Mr. Amit Trigunayat as the operations head of this country. Under his able leadership, 3i Infotech will increase its focus on the BFSI, ERP and e-Governance segments."

Mr. Amit Trigunayat has 27 years of experience in the Information Technology, Banking & Financial Services sector. Prior to joining 3i Infotech, Mr. Trigunayat worked for the National Technology Group (NTG) Saudi Arabia, as General Manager. Prior to that, he was associated with IBM Business Partner - SMPL India as Technical Director.

For almost three decades 3i Infotech MEARC has served the Middle East, Africa, Russia and CIS countries, and today the company prides in having more than 600 customers. With the establishment of its Riyadh office, 3i Infotech plans to strengthen its presence and improve service to existing clients in the Kingdom.
