UNB CEO Mohammad Nasr Abdeen presented the awards at a dinner reception for UNB employees.

"I would like to congratulate the winners and commend them for a year of consistent high performance. These awards were created in line with UNB's vision to be the number one bank in the region in terms of customer and staff satisfaction and in providing returns to our shareholders," said Mahmoud Halawa EVP & Head of Business Group.

"The establishment of the BCSDA award has promoted healthy competition that leads to improved service quality among our various divisions. Institutionalizing a strong customer service mind-set across the bank is a key element of our business strategy. Rewards and incentive programmes such as the BCSDA will contribute to ensuring that both service quality and customer satisfaction are constantly exceeded," added Halawa.
