- United Arab Emirates: Tuesday, December 18 - 2001 at 09:31
- PRESS RELEASE
Aspidex Technologies - the Middle East's leading provider of world-class, e-banking application services - has agreed upon exclusive rights with Corillian International, the global provider of eFinance enabling software, to offer Corillian's Voyager ASP Internet banking platform to the financial services community in the broader Middle East region.
"In considering various eFinance software providers in the market, we chose Corillian because of its flexible, scalable, secure technology," added Dajani.
The ASP service is based on the proven Corillian Voyager platform (The Operating System for eFinance™), and draws on Corillian's experience of offering Corillian Voyager SE, a hosted Internet banking solution, in the US. Voyager SE, hosted in Corillian's state-of-the-art data centre, has been selected by The Golden 1 Credit Union, the 4th largest credit union in the U.S., to provide its 400,000 members with enhanced Internet banking and bill payment capabilities.
Aspidex Technologies is focused on the provision of Internet banking solutions and will serve as Corillian's center of excellence to support the banking community in the Middle East and surrounding countries.
Aspidex will offer Corillian's Voyager ASP to the banking community from its regional data centre. This service is targeted at Middle Eastern financial institutions that are looking for a robust, scalable eFinance solution. Aspidex is also able to offer Corillian Voyager as an on-premise solution to banks requiring that option.
The Corillian Voyager platform allows financial institutions to provide their customers with real-time access to their accounts, enhanced bill payment and presentment capabilities, customised sorting and tracking options and the ability to download statement data to personal financial management software, such as Microsoft Money®.
"Corillian solutions will appeal to many banks in the Middle Eastern region. The combination of Aspidex's contacts in the Middle Eastern banking sector and Corillian's global reputation as one of the leading providers of eFinance-enabling software is a powerful one. We are looking forward to working with Aspidex on a number of projects in the Middle East in the coming future," added Martin Davis Corillian's Executive Vice President, International.
