The leadership training programme is part of the Group's ongoing Emiratisation program titled 'Mustakbali', meaning 'My Future' that aims to provide nationals with the opportunity for self-achievement by building their own future. The Program involves in-house engagement with professional excellence in HR and Communications.

Eng. Yahya Lootah further commented:
"We have been committed to our Emiratisation policy to groom and mould a new generation of future leaders that are capable of advancing the development of the UAE in line with the vision of our Leadership that has always stressed the importance of human development above everything else. Our doors are always open with opportunities across the Board. We will strive to provide a competent work environment that will enable nationals to become an integral part of the local workforce."

Stressing the role of family businesses in fulfilling this vision, Eng. Yahya Lootah added, "Coupled with flexibility, family businesses with roots here have direct responsibility towards the nation's progress and hence, are in a unique position to take this vision forward by being a role-model for today's youngsters particularly in entrepreneurship."

Ms. Shahd al Hammadi, an Emirati staff member commented: "I have been here for the last couple of months and my experience so far is equivalent to a year's exposure in other work environments. The multi-cultural people and exposure to international level projects and work environment have greatly contributed to my personal and professional development. I look forward to an enriching career in this organisation. "

S.S. Lootah had earlier launched a unique microfinance initiative called 'Mashroay' meaning 'My Project' under 'Mustakbali', to provide necessary funding to young UAE nationals with sound vision and innovative ideas for new projects and research initiatives that have the potential to become viable business ventures, reinforcing S.S. Lootah's commitment to entrepreneurship.
