Ruwad launches membership programme for SMEs

Ruwad Establishment has launched a membership programme to expand support for small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

The programme aims to improve nonfinancial support for SMEs in the emirate of Sharjah, with so as to enhance their efficiency and performance and build a network of interrelated projects from various economic sectors. The programme will motivate cooperation among member enterprises and will enhance their relations with governmental corporations and departments.

HE Ahmad Mohammad Al Midfaa, Chairman of Ruwad, stressed the importance of continuous support for SMEs due to the fast growing and changing nature of these projects.

"We seek to continuously improve our services to cope with the changing demand. The membership privileges include exemption from the bank guarantee required by the Ministry of Labor, 50 percent discount for participation in exhibitions at the Sharjah Expo Centre, participation with Ruwad in overseas exhibitions, and consultancy support, as well as other promotional activities for members,"


said Al Midfaa.

Ruwad will offer the necessary support for its members in bidding for procurement contracts with selected government and private organizations, and will recommend assigning priority to members when awarding these contracts.
