This is the third successive year that Dubai Investments is participating in Careers UAE, the country's largest career fair.

Commenting on the company's participation at the three-day fair, Khalid Kalban, Managing Director and CEO of Dubai Investments PJSC, said: "As a company that is committed to helping advance the economic and industrial growth of the UAE, Dubai Investments has staunchly supported the Government's initiative to bring talented National youth into the economic mainstream, and we reinforce our commitment to the Emiratization cause with our participation in Careers UAE 2009."

"Building a pool of qualified National human resources and giving them the right opportunities and professional environment to grow and develop their skills is crucial to correcting the labour market imbalance and achieving the country's long-term goals,"

Kalban added.

"Dubai Investments recognizes the vital role of the private sector in realizing this goal, and through our participation in Careers UAE, we are seeking to identify opportunities that will help strengthen the role of the national workforce in the company's expanding business activities."

"Targeted events such as Careers UAE assume ever-greater importance in the current economic climate, when the global downturn has dramatically slowed new recruitment. By providing a platform for employers and job-seekers to meet and interact, Careers UAE plays an important role in boosting Emirati participation in the national economy while helping to reinvigorate the local job market,"

Kalban concluded.
