- United Arab Emirates: Sunday, March 29 - 2009 at 12:11
- PRESS RELEASE
Satellite Visual Communication announced its Middle East regional partnership with award winning Spotme wireless communication service to be launched at GIBTM 2009.
It is part messaging tool, part people finder, part program-at-a-glance, part navigation system, part voting keypad - and a whole lot of fun.
In addition, the new Spotme is eco-friendly; the binder, maps, electronic feedback forms and searchable photo database provide real-time information at your fingertips, while reducing the need to make costly printouts that are usually thrown out after the event.
With the launch, Spotmebrings the most innovative meetings technology solution from Europe. Highly regarded internationally since 2001, Spotme launched a new version of its service in 2007, which earned the prestigious EIBTM WorldWide Technology Watch Award for innovation. This new version moved Spotme from a networking tool to an all-in-one communication tool for meetings, conferences and events.
"Satellite Visual Communication, based in the UAE are on-hand to discuss client's needs, provide demonstrations of Spotme and serve our customers' events. We are very excited to collaborate with Satellite Visual Communication, they are based locally, understand the market and are here to provide Middle East clients the same high quality meeting experience that we have been providing to our customers around the world," says Roger Meier, Managing Director of Shockfish SA, Switzerland.
"In this fast paced and changing world we need to embrace tools such as this which enable us to provide environments for communication and learning that appeal to all walks of life. We can no longer rest on our laurels and be content to continue to do things the way we always have, and why should we or would we want to when we have such valuable tools available to assist us," comments John Quinn General Manager of Satellite Visual Communication.
