Event Organiser Kishore Navani said:
"It is a very impressive list, especially given the current depressing economic situation."

"Many of the maritime world's most important suppliers of high quality vessels and their equipment and suppliers of services to those vessel will present their latest offerings," Mr Navani added.

A list of exhibitors as at Friday, March 27 is attached. Many of those exhibitors also represent numerous other suppliers, so the number of exhibiting companies is considerably higher.

There are also a large number of important sponsors and supporters. Local shipbuilding and repair giant ASRY (Arab Ship Repair Yard), for example, is not only exhibiting but offering visitors a highly useful and interesting excursion and lunch.

"We are expecting a large number of high quality vessel owners and operators to attend from all over the Middle East and further afield," Mr Navani noted.

"They will be coming to talk seriously with exhibitors and sponsors and to network with their industry peers," Mr Navani said. "This is certain to be a very useful and high quality event for serious work boat industry participants."
