Visa and Emirates NBD partner to grow debit business in the UAE

Visa Inc, the world's leading payment solution provider today announced a long term partnership deal with Emirates NBD, the largest bank in the UAE in terms of assets, to expand the bank's debit offerings.
As part of this strategic partnership Visa will support Emirates NBD to further develop the bank's debit portfolio and enhance the Emirates NBD customer experience by increasing usage capabilities including access to Visa's unsurpassed global acceptance as well as the increased flexibility, convenience and security that debit offers.
Commenting on the signing, Kamran Siddiqi, Visa's General Manager Middle East said, "The signing of the Emirates NBD Debit deal is an important step for Visa in growing our debit card capabilities in the UAE and bringing the associated debit card advantages to UAE customers through Emirates NBD."
Speaking on behalf of Emirates NBD, Jamal Bin Ghalaita, General Manager of Consumer Banking and Wealth Management said, "We are pleased to partner with Visa in this agreement, and look forward to working closely to continue delivering innovative and relevant debit products that exceed the expectations of our customers."
