Budget Rent-a-Car expands operations in Abu Dhabi

It has recently opened two new city offices, in addition to its current office at Abu Dhabi International Airport.

The announcement was made by UAE-based Liberty Investment Company (LIC), the UAE master franchisee for Budget Rent-a-Car, as it continues to implement its nationwide expansion plan. Budget currently has a network of 16 offices across the UAE, including offices at the Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah international airports, making it one of the largest and most successful vehicle rental networks in the region.

The new Abu Dhabi offices are in prominent locations at Umm Al Nar and on Muroor Road.

Duncan Peat, Managing Director, LIC's Transportation Division, which oversees both Budget Rent-a-Car and Prime Limousine, said:

Over the past four years, Budget has seen a year-on-year growth of 23%. In the same period, the fleet size has expanded by more than 100%."
