The offer began on 21 March and ends on 16 May 2009.

The new C270 modem introduces state-of-the-art speed technology and works as a memory card when attached to a Micro SD inlet, enabling users to obtain the smallest and fastest modem in the region while enjoying the best network services at the lowest price ever in the region.

This latest offer is one of many promotions recently launched by STC that include: reductions on all internet categories (1 gigabytes, 5 gigabytes and the Open category) for all postpaid, SAWA and LANA customers; and 3.5 G SIM cards that have special features such as Internet browsing while moving from one place to another and compatibility with all mobile phones and Al Jawal modems.

The unique service facilitates e-mail browsing at any time and supports all Internet applications after activation using any of Al Jawal categories.

As another special offer, STC has reduced its 5 gigabytes monthly subscription cost per month and the Open category down. The reductions include Al Jawal Postpaid, SAWA and LANA customers.

In the 1 gigabyte category, customers can download 1000 megabytes of data per month. In the 5 gigabytes category, customers can download 5000 megabytes of data per month. In the Open category, customers can enjoy downloading an unlimited volume of data per month with a monthly subscription.

Covering 300,000 kilometers of highways and 98% of inhabitant areas across Saudi Arabia, STC is the biggest telecommunication services operator in the Middle East with a larger customer base than any other provider.

Winner of many awards, Saudi Telecom was recognized for achieving the Best Satisfied Customer level in international telecommunications for the year 2007 to 2008.
