- Oman: Wednesday, April 01 - 2009 at 09:03
Awraq, Salalah's premier Advertising and Publicity Agency recently had a new staff acquisition with Ulrica Gustavsson joining in as 'Head of Advertising Services'.
Her knowledge of the market in Salalah and her expertise in gauging potential clients gives a definitive edge to the agency.
Ulrica would be playing a key role in the agency's growth. She loves the service industry and maintains a high standard when it comes to the same. She's also a diplomatic leader and exceptionally organized when it comes to work. Her prime role in the agency would be to co-ordinate the various processes internally.
Using her knowledge of the market, she has also been able to source a few clients to add to Awraq's roster already, and expecting more to come.
Excited about her inclusion into the Awraq fraternity Ulrica added, "Awraq is opening up a new door in advertising and publicity in Salalah and I can clearly see the potential. To have been given this opportunity to grow with Awraq and introduce something new to the market is the challenge I've been looking for. The marketing team is a blend where everyone is having his/her own expertise. The MarCom Executive, Samina Saqib is full of energy and always on top of the latest news in the marketing industry."
"Aloysius Lobo, from Bombay contributes with his skills in copywriting and brings a 'new edge' to the art of advertising. Ruqaiya helps in the Arabic side of the business also keeping track of marketing trends. Designing is done by Vinayan who brings a fresh influence to the vision Awraq want to emphasize. As a Head of Advertising Services I will bring my expertise into the team and together we will bring the marketing in Salalah to a different level," she said.
"I see so much potential in Salalah and hope that we can contribute to it's development," Ulrica concludes.
