Early this month, the office furniture division of Span enjoyed a noticeable presence at one of the Middle East's biggest office showcase along with its principal IVM, the Italian manufacturer of office furniture.

Held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre over 3 days, the show was an excellent platform to introduce the latest IVM's designs: Quadro & LOOP.

The booth incorporated a remarkably dimensioned desk in Wengè from the line LOOP. The principal characteristic of the desk top is a metal swing door, hiding a 19' monitor inside the unit. The monitor remains unseen when not used. Ergonomic Kosmo System workstations were also an element of attraction.

Desks are separated by a unique pullout catalogue storage unit for improved organization and increased efficiency. An impressively attractive glass-topped meeting table from the Quadro line featuring generous legs complemented with stackable etageres and matching glass doors in a gloss finish and a well-designed reception were also part of the stand.

The high level executive desk was a crowd-puller according to Madeleine Chaanine, Operations Manager at Span. Visitors would stop by to see how well engineered and efficient this system was. "Ergonomics and space management are today's essentials. Office design is not only about elegance but efficiency and improved productivity. Our solutions are a mixture of chic yet efficient products that will turn workplaces to a better
working environment."

2009 was the first year that Span and IVM participate in The Office Exhibition. "It was an excellent networking experience and we were delighted to have our customers visit us at the stand to show us their support," says Chaanine.
