The Saudi Specialized Publishing Company launches Domus Arabia magazine

The Saudi Specialized Publishing Company, a subsidiary of the Saudi Research & Marketing Group, recently launched the inaugural issue of the Domus Arabia magazine licensed by the Italian Editoriale Domus, one of the leading European publishers.
Prince Faisal Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of SRMG, stated that launching Domus Arabia is a milestone in the history of SSPC, and a major leap towards producing distinguished specialized content that meets the demands of those interested in contemporary architecture, interior design and art.
Prince Faisal also ascertained that launching such a magazine boosts the pioneering role the Saudi Specialized Publishing Company plays via its licensed projects, as it transforms into a corporate entity.
Moreover, Prince Faisal pointed out that the new magazine would contribute to the diversity of specialized content resources SSPC provides to the corporate world on a B2B basis.
On the other hand, Dr. Azzam Al-Dakhil, CEO of SRMG, affirmed that Domus Arabia, marks a key contribution to SSPC licensed projects. This step comes as part of the company's endeavors to issue Arabic versions of the 50 top international specialized magazines, based on licensing agreements signed with key international publishers.
During the upcoming period, as Dr. Dakhil pointed out, SSPC prepares to launch more magazines such as; Parents, whose editorial focus is on the daily needs and concerns of mothers and children, Better Homes and Gardens that focuses on interior design and decoration, Quattroruote, one of the most important car magazines, in addition to Robb Report, a world-renowned luxury magazine.
Within the same framework, Mohammad Alomar, Executive Director of SSPC, clarified that the Domus Arabia magazine is a prime release that targets the corporate milieu as it constitutes a strong base for dashing into the B2B world; a major step SSPC undertakes with its SRMG sister companies.
Alomar elaborates on the issue saying that the overall editorial approach of Domus Arabia heads towards providing a balanced content through presenting issues and topics relating to the Arab world. The tremendous effort exerted by the company's highly qualified editorial staff contributed to the preparation of its content, that is basically enhanced by translating selected topics provided by the Italian edition.
The professional concerns and demands of the target architecture and design audience were focused on as priorities. Mr. Alomar also hinted out that the Arabic version of the magazine would play a major role in introducing Arab architecture as well as the region's pioneering projects to the whole world.
Domus Arabia first issue dedicated an extended feature to expose the total strategic plan for Riyadh city, depicting a perspective of its architectural reality during the next 50 years under the scope: Riyadh 2060. Besides, other topics handled various architectural re-innovation movements and the effect of digital planning on traditional architecture.
Of the other features included in the magazine, comes a detailed overview of the King Abdullah Financial Center project, and another of the West Bay Complex Project in Qatar. The magazine also contained reports accounting for the views and concepts of some renowned architects, and designers who founded their own schools.
