66 top listed high school students participates in Effat University's special edition of scholarship contest

On March 14, 2009 Effat University held the scholarship contest designed for the top listed high school students in Mecca Province for the academic year 2008-2009.
Sixty six students were recommended by the Ministry of Education upon achieving a score of 100% on their GPA; three of them are special need students: two are from Deaf Children Institute and one from Al-Noor wa Al-Amal School for Blinds.
Based on that, Dr. Haifa Jamal Al-Lail, Dean of Effat University, gave her directions to form a committee to work on the special arrangements for these contestants. In order to get the full scholarship, a contestant is required to pass several tests, in addition to a personal interview conducted by the academic and administrative committee of the scholarship contest.
The names of the winners will be announced in Effat University Annual Scholarship Contest which will be held on April 2nd 2009.
