New online supermarket, JamiaQ8.com launched in Kuwait

Users in Kuwait can now shop for groceries and household goods from the comfort of their homes.

Www.JamiaQ8.com was launched in January this year by a privately owned company in Kuwait. JamiaQ8.com brings with it huge expertise in retail and online sales. This easy-to-use website has several neatly organized categories and subcategories with a large variety of brands and products to choose from. Their range of products include items from frozen food to fresh fruit & vegetables. Also included are desserts & bakery items, hair care products, oral care products, house ware items, diet products and much more.

JamiaQ8 claims on its site that they have the lowest prices in the market. The Chairman and Managing Director, Ms Mara Cantoni states, "We perfectly pack and deliver, home goods and general supply items right to a customer's doorstep free of cost within 1 hour". She also claims that within a week, they have been able to accomplish over 200 successful deliveries.

"Payment process is simple. At present JamiaQ8.com accepts payment by Cash on Delivery and we are in the process of setting up a payment gateway with the co-operation of Burgan Bank to accept major credit and debit cards", added Ms. Cantoni.

The idea of an online supermarket was developed keeping in mind the convenience of shopping from home anytime and getting deliveries straight to the front door in addition to providing access to thousands of products
