The specific services to be supplied by Injazat include a consistent global desktop support environment; a 24 x 7 Global Service Desk; server monitoring with performance metrics; infrastructure monitoring and management tools to enable effective service management; mechanisms for driving continuous service improvements; field support service across
Etihad's global locations; service trend analysis; and the deployment of experienced delivery managers. Injazat will combine its local capabilities, the global service delivery experience of parent company EDS, and the international reach of a prominent field support service provider well-placed within the airline IT sector in deploying its advanced solutions for Etihad.

Injazat Data Systems is a joint venture between Mubadala Development Co. and EDS, an HP company with 46 years of global expertise in the IT managed services industry. Injazat holds more than 50 per cent of the UAE's IT outsourcing market and will further raise the level of the Middle East's managed IT services sector through its Tier IV design certified data centre, the first facility of its kind in the region.
