"Time is a precious commodity, and our customers want a fast service, so we actually measured how far a technician walked around a car during a typical maintenance service."
said MK Rajkumar, Senior General Manager, After Sales at Arabian Automobiles.
"We found it was about half a kilometer, so by introducing two technicians and by simultaneously choreographing their functions and movements we found we could reduce the service time down to just 20 minutes. We have also invested in new tools, complete with airlines mounted on moveable trolleys which the technicians can circulate around the car with."
Arabian Automobiles has set up 10 of these Express Service bays at its Deira service centre. The Express Service is available on the 5,000km, 10,000km, 20,000km and 40,000km scheduled service intervals.
Brake maintenance is a very common procedure and as such Arabian Automobiles is encouraging its customers to avail themselves of a new discounted service. An attractive 50% discount is being offered on brake parts with a 20% discount on brake maintenance labour costs. This service is available across all Arabian Automobile service locations.
The third new offering concerns the typical bodywork dents and scratches and interior blemishes such as cigarette burns. Arabian Automobiles has teamed up with Polimar to offer a body, paint and interior smart repair service. Removal of even small dents and scratches would usually take one day but a new infrared paint curing process means most small body repairs can now be completed in an hour. Similarly, cigarette burns and upholstery tears can be invisibly repaired. Smart repairs are currently available at the Deira service centre.
The fourth facility is a suite of car care products. Firstly, a new engine flush fluid can be added to the engine oil and the car is then run. With the engine flush fluid thoroughly mixed with the engine oil, the oil is then drained and with it the mixture removes internal carbon deposits in the engine. Arabian Automobiles also has a new fuel injector cleaning additive and additionally, an anti-bacterial flush for air conditioning systems. These services are available across all Arabian Automobile service locations.
Finally, Arabian Automobiles will offer its customers an annual 24 hr breakdown recovery service at very attractive price.
