Bahrain 1 Racing team manager Mr. Ameer Akhtarzadeh, highlighted the victory as a great team effort, saying:
"Drag racing is a highly challenging event and this victory was achieved through the guidance and support of H.H. Sheikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the excellent coordination and dedicated effort of the crew, and the exemplary skill of the drivers. It is the team's effort which enabled our ace driver Ali Arryan to achieve first position in the Bahrain Championship."
Bahrain 1 Racing is currently preparing for the upcoming round of the Qatar Championship which will be held on the 16th & 17th April 2009.
Thanking GBCORP for partnering with Bahrain 1 Racing, Mr. Akhtarzadeh, added, "We are thankful for GBCORP's support not just for the race but enabling us to contribute to GBCORP's Corporate Social Responsibility [CSR] programme in support of the Bahrain Society for Children with Behavioral & Communication Difficulties.
