New Farsi radio consortium to broadcast from UAE with top Iranian artists

Consultants World Class Group has been retained to create the consortium of investors who will harness the airwaves in the UAE with popular music, culture and pop talk from Iran. The Media management company, LiveFarsi, will close subscriptions to the investor pool on April 17th, and a new board of directors will be appointed.

We are issuing 1,000 shares at a market price of 15,000 aed each, said the investment consultants, with perks on price points for advertising from shareholders the first three years.

The project, poised to generate over 6,000,000 to 10,000,000 aed per annum in advertising revenue, will also include a rich content dynamic website, with music downloads, community photos, and a micro video portal.

"We foresee that the advent of launching this powerful radio will become a second home to the Farsi speaking community throughout the UAE, and by using the power of the internet, listeners and advertisers around the world will benefit from this unique and state of the art programming content,"

said one spokesman.

He stated, "By using the power of the Internet, we expect to reach millions of people around the world as our brand grows its business horizons."

He added, "Our format will be entertainment only, as politics and religion are taboo in our constitution, we will be creating alliances with the best. The station will abide by all UAE rules of ethical, culturally sensitive broadcast rules, and will be under the censorship f government like any other media in the UAE."

"I believe one of our artists agencies is taking steps now to begin express interest talks, this is really an exciting project, and the first of its kind.
