Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank strengthens its private banking division with new appointment

As part of its ongoing focus on expanding its services, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, the UAE's leading Islamic Bank, has appointed Mr. Hashim Al Zarooni as the Regional Head -Private Banking division in the Northern Emirates.

Mr. Zarooni will be based in Dubai and will report to the head of Private Banking. He will be engaged in the private banking and wealth management activities and developing Shari'a compliant products designed specifically to suit high net worth individuals.

Mr. Zarooni joined the bank in 1999 and he was involved in the Operations, Credit, Investment, Foreign Trade and Consumer Finance divisions. In 2003, he was appointed as a Branch Manager in the Deira Branch.

Commenting on his appointment, Mr. Hashim Al Zarooni said:

"Private banking is an important business to ADIB. There is strong growth in the local and regional market for managing substantial wealth for individuals and their families. I feel gratified by this appointment and I am looking forward to join the Private Banking team in ADIB"
