Adidas launches Spring/Summer 2009 football boots

The launch of the new colour range extends Adidas' comprehensive range of the popular Predator Power Swerve models, the world's first fully customisable F50 TUNiT and the elegant adiPURE football boots.

The three product segmentations Predator, F50 and adiPure meet the needs of all playing styles with highly functional soccer boots for players' techniques and characteristics, each representing a particular style of play. The Predator stands for powerful players (Gerrard), F50 TUNiT for artistic (Messi) and adiPure for elegant approaches to the game (Kaka).

Developed in collaboration with football legend Zinédine Zidane, Adidas Predator Power Swerve boot sets new standards, in particular with regard to power, swerve and control. The Predator is designed for optimal comfort, stability and traction on every ground, with K-leather upper for excellent ball feel and fit.

Dynamic PowerPulse technology in the sole of the boot and the special hi-tech foam in the forefoot upper material make these improvements possible and enable players to put more power behind every shot. The hi-tech foam in the Predator element ensures added power, more swerve and better ball control.

The F50 TUNiT represents the artistic style of play, the showman who can take on three players and trick defenders. Each player has different tricks and therefore, the F50 comes with integrated technology which allows for boot customization, to suit the player's specific needs in terms of studs, uppers, insoles and chassis.

Inspired by FC Barcelona and Argentina international star player Lionel Messi, this shoe has an adiGrip synthetic upper and a thinner lace cover that provides a cleaner kicking surface for excellent ball contact in all weather conditions.

The adiPURE is a classic design infused with select new technologies to enhance a player's game, being inspired by Kaka, the Brazilian AC Milan star to demonstrate the natural ability, elegant style and minimalism of this classic silo.
