With a theme of 'All White', over 100 women gathered to give something back - with many of the proceeds from the lunch aiding the Children's Hope Foundation's chief goal to provide medical, educational and leisure facilities for children suffering from illness, disability or poverty.
While guests enjoyed a delectable meal at the highly-acclaimed Esca restaurant, there were also plenty of wonderful prizes on offer and an interesting touch was added by the presence of a world renowned astrologer and Feng Shui expert to advise on matters of the home and heart.
Jewellery, knick knacks, clothes, beads and baubles were also available for purchase with proceeds going towards the Children's Hope Foundation.
CHF Chairperson Zenny Hirji praised Qamardeen Hotel and its staff for their contribution to the success of the event, pointing out that it was a noble act indeed to support such an occasion in the current economic climate.
Complex Operations Director for Qamardeen and Al Manzil Hotels, John de Canha expressed his delight at hosting the event saying:
"It is a great honour to be associated with the Children's Hope Foundation. It is so important to be involved in the community and we are grateful to have this opportunity to make an impact in the lives of these children in this way."
