Mrs. Hanan Abdel Meguid was elected the new Software Development Division Chair, effective January 25th, 2009.
Hanan Abdel Meguid is CEO of LINK Development, a leading services and software development company in the Middle East region.
Since 1996, she has been an active member of the IT community, where she campaigns for better and more training programs. Her desire to sustain and grow developer talent also led to her involvement in the establishment of various online and offline communities, which help build developers' knowledge base.
She is an active member of a number of organizations and workgroups, aiming at boosting education in the IT sector as well as e-government and e-business in Egypt.
Eitesal was founded in 2004 as a result of the merge between EHITA (Egyptian Hi Technology) and ESA (Egyptian Software) associations.
Eitesal aims to improve the business environment for members by promoting their local and international interests and by creating a strong and positive synergy among Egyptian industry stakeholders.
