"The battle to sell property is on. Now you can take that challenge anywhere," said David Atkinson, former Executive Board Member of DHL. "If you want to reach customers, you can't afford to wait for them to come to you. Our vehicles allow developers to show people what they're building before a drop of concrete has been poured. And do it anywhere in the world."
Dominic Brennan, co-founder of VenueFree, has created award winning advertising for some of the world's largest brands but believes that marketing budgets can, and must, work a lot harder.
Brennan says:
"Business has to be flexible and yet advertising is usually static, typically expensive and struggles to connect directly with consumers. My creative challenge was to tackle these problems, and VenueFree is the result."
VenueFree, which is working with partners Asteco Design & Furnishing, Allied Transport and Jumeirah Hospitality, offers vehicles from as little as a week to more than a year and can even arrange for businesses to share its use. Each VenueFree vehicle comes with a driver and operator, full insurance, a kitchen, lighting, power and air conditioning.
Kerrin Matthey of Asteco Design and Furnishing will create the first Interior Design and fitout for the vehicle. Kerrin has a fabulous portfolio in Dubai including the villas of many Manchester United Footballers and Jumeirah Living hotel apartments to name but a few. "We wanted to ensure top quality, world class design and furnishing and we are very excited to partner with Kerrin on our first launch at Cityscape Abu Dhabi," added Brennan.
Clients can opt for interior and exterior graphics, interior design, film and video projection, a public address system, I.T capability, catering and many other services. "There are so many applications for our mobile space," says Brennan, "from corporate hospitality at the Dubai Classic to a sales roadshow across the UAE, even a cinema in the middle of the desert! Whatever your requirements VenueFree can design a package for you."
A VenueFree vehicle takes less than two hours from arrival at a destination to full operation. It is just over 15m in length and 8.5m wide (including the exterior decking). Each vehicle has been specially built for VenueFree and can cope with the challenges of operating in the Middle East, even at the very height of the summer.
"The initial response to VenueFree from customers has been overwhelming", says Atkinson, whose only worry is keeping up with customer demand. As for the timing Atkinson couldn't be more positive, "Despite the global economic downturn I can't think of a better place to start a business than in the UAE, and no better product to do it with than VenueFree."
