Appointment of new Centre Director (Doha) at IE Singapore

Kenneth Sim has been appointed as the new Centre Director (Doha).
Feroz Siddiqui (40) first joined IE Singapore in 2003 and has served in various divisions of the statutory board in Singapore before being posted to Doha in Nov 2005.
Over the last three years he oversaw the growth of bilateral trade between Singapore & Qatar, facilitating products for many Singapore firms in Qatar, and deepening ties with his Qatari counterparts and gaining their trust in the 'Singapore Inc' brand.
Kenneth Sim joined IE Singapore last year, and was overseeing the Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait markets at its HQ. He formerly worked at the Singapore Ministry of Trade & industry doing SME development policies and was the anchor person for the pro-enterprise initiative to implement the Online Business Licensing Service (OBLS), a one-stop licensing portal for Singapore start-ups and businesses to apply for licences from more than 30 government agencies.
