Jet Airways introduces a new daily non-stop flight from Dubai to Chennai

Jet Airways, India's premier international airline, will launch daily, direct services to Chennai from Dubai, effective April 23, 2009.

This will be the airline's first daily service to Chennai from Dubai, complementing the airline's existing Dubai-Mumbai and Dubai-Delhi services which started on 23rd August, 2008.

Jet Airways will operate the new flight with the state-of-the-art New Generation Boeing 737-800 aircraft featuring personalized award winning in-flight entertainment on every seat, gourmet cuisine and world-class service at the hands of warm and thoroughly professional cabin crew.

According to Mr. Abraham Joseph Senior General Manager, "Jet Airways has already established itself as a formidable brand in the intensely competitive Gulf - India sector in a relatively short period of time, on account of the warmth of its service and quality of its in-flight product. We are confident that the new Dubai-Chennai service will prove similarly popular with passengers. Our focus remains on strategic growth that meets travellers' needs by offering the best schedules, more choice of destinations for their convenience."

The flight is conveniently timed with Flight 9W 545 departing Dubai International Airport at 16:30 hrs, arriving Chennai at 22:15 hrs. On the return leg, Flight 9W 545 will depart Chennai at 12:45 hrs and arrive Dubai International Airport at 15:30 hrs. Jet Airways also provides immediate international connections to / from Singapore, Kualalumper and Colombo besides other domestic connections to cities in Tamil Nadu.

Mr. Shakir Kantawala, Regional Manager, Sales & Marketing of Jet Airways commented, "To commemorate its maiden foray into Chennai from Dubai, the airline has introduced special return Economy class fares on its first 3 flights departing on April 23rd, 24th & 25th and with a return date on or before 31st May."

Jet Airways' Jet Privilege members will be entitled to a host of inaugural offers, including the chance to earn Double JPMiles in Economy and Première, and a 25% discount on Jet award tickets from 23rd April to 31st May 2009.
