The announcement came during the ceremony held by the Worldcob in Burj Al Arab, al falak hall, in presence of Gessy Moran, CEO, Worldcob, and banking and finance leaders and businessmen in the GCC including Saleh Al Hashimi, DCEO; Rehab Lootah, SVP, Mawarid Finance; as well as some of the achievers among Mawarid Finance's staff who received trophies and prizes in addition to top executives and representatives of other winning companies such as Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) and Acer Computer Limited.
Gessy Moran first welcomed the winners saying that they deserve these awards for their excellence in many business activities as certified by an independent special evaluation committee composed of specialized in trade and business. During the last six months of the financial crisis, the said committee monitored and analyzed the difficulties faced by many companies and how these companies managed to overcome such difficulties in terms of performance and results.
Mr. Moran said that the Worldcob is keen to honor winners in their home countries to motivate them forward; thus this appreciation covered other companies from Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar and Lebanon according to the categories with an aim to network and raise awareness of winners' experience and their performance plans.
The Worldcob, based in Houston USA, and part of the UN World Treaty, with over 2000 members representing more than 30 countries world wide, encourages business development worldwide, recognizes and propels company growth along with business leaders in each country with the use of important business tools and services given to its members.
Mohammed Mosabeh Al Neaimi, CEO, Mawarid Finance, said:
