The College of Information Technology hosts a forum on 'The Leading Electronic Government Initiative of Dubai Government'

The College of Information Technology (CIT) in the United Arab Emirates University is hosting a forum on "The Leading Electronic Government (eGov) Initiative of Dubai Government" on April 8th2009.

A panel of experts from Dubai eGov will share with students, citizens, residents, and researchers their expertise and experience in adopting and implementing state-of-the-art eGov technologies, strategies and services.

The forum will discuss different perspectives concerning the electronic and mobile Government initiative of Dubai. Topics include managerial issues and challenges, business and technical drivers and implications: inception and evolution, barriers, success factors, business model, technical infrastructure and solutions, citizens' view, services, comparisons/benchmarks and other interesting issues that earned Dubai eGov a leading position in the region.

The event will take place for one full day in CIT in the Auditorium at the ground floor (Female-side) in the Maqam campus starting at 10 AM.
