Part of Bahrain Bay's construction policy is that all developers and construction suppliers associated with the project have to conform to rigorous health and safety standards.

Nass Murray & Roberts, the international engineering, contracting and construction firm who has been assigned to build the Arcapita Headquarter building and AMA, the leading regional infrastructure group and main infrastructure contractor for the project, follow Bahrain Bay's philosophy that every accident and every injury is preventable.

Bahrain Bay's consultant Project Manager for the AHQ, Andrew Mitchell of Mace, stated 'In any project 1 million man hours without an LTI [Lost Time Incident] or reportable accident is a fantastic achievement. Given the complexities with the local mix of cultures and attitudes to Health and Safety, this is an even more significant milestone. It sets a benchmark for the remainder of the project and the Bahrain Bay Development as a whole, and all members of the project should be justifiably proud'.

Bob Vincent, CEO of Bahrain Bay added:
"Bahrain Bay has placed safety at the centre of its construction policy and we're very proud to be able to announce a million accident free man hours by both Nass Murray & Roberts and AMA Group. Their dedication to safety has ensured that the people working on the project are doing so in a safe and stringently monitored environment which adheres to international standards of health and safety regulation. We congratulate Nass Murray & Roberts and AMA for their achievement."

The community is anchored by three key developments: the Kingdom's only Four Seasons Hotel; CapitaLand's first GCC development, Raffles City Bahrain; and the new HQ building for Arcapita, the leading international investment firm and lead investor in the project.

Bahrain Bay is committed to establishing and maintaining a new standard of urban centre. With an emphasis on social fabric and sense of place, Bahrain Bay will be created as a complete community filled with residents, businesses and visitors from all over the world.
