The Boeing Business Enrichment Scholarship Program (BEP) consisted of three integrated modules: core business skills workshops, elective workshops, and an action-learning engagement project. This project enabled participants to synthesize and apply the knowledge and skills gained throughout the program.
"The aim of this scholarship was to train qualified project engineers in different fields including of, electronic engineering, information technology (IT), mechanical engineering, electronic engineering, chemical engineering and civil engineering," said Paul Kinscherff, president, Boeing Middle East.
"We are delighted to celebrate the graduation of these skilled engineers, who will provide technical proficiency and services to the Egyptian market"
The BEP enables engineering graduates to understand the broader strategic context of businesses, making them more effective in their professional roles by focusing on the core skills of communication, corporate image, leadership and career development.
"This is the second Amideast program that Boeing has sponsored and we are honored to have successfully completed this initiative,"
said David Godsted, Amideast country director for Egypt.
"The Boeing Company and Amideast/Egypt worked together to provide Egyptian engineers with the professional skills and techniques they need to effectively contribute to their specialized fields."
Boeing has a proven track record of delivering innovative products and services, and continuously looks for opportunities to bring that knowledge to communities around the world.
