Royal Jordanian to move checking in passengers flying to North America to South Terminal at QAIA

Royal Jordanian (RJ) announced that starting April 15 it will carry out checking in passengers flying to the North American destinations and all related-operations to the South Terminal (1) at Queen Alia International Airport instead of the North Terminal (2).

This move aims at uniting check in of all RJ passengers in one terminal- the South Terminal, after RJ passengers traveling to the airline's North American destinations were checked in at the North Terminal.

The move is bound to facilitate travel procedures, including accepting passengers and their luggage, immigration procedures and boarding passes, particularly that the aircraft flying to the USA and Canadian destinations always park on the ramp of the South Terminal. This will make it easier for passengers to reach the gates without having to cross to the other terminal passing through the Duty Free Shop.

Currently RJ is operating four weekly flights to New York, five to Chicago, two to Detroit and two to Montreal. The airline also enables its passengers flying to all American cities, in cooperation with American Airlines, using one ticket with competitive prices, through the two airlines' membership in the oneworld airline alliance.
