- PRESS RELEASE
EMAAR Properties has announced plans to build a multi-billion dirham golf and equestrian complex that will be integrated into and designed around the project's unique desert location in Dubai.
The project is built with two world-class golf courses- one of which is a desert course- an equestrian centre as well as an international quality resort hotel featuring 50 individual chalets for guests and 400 housing sites overlooking the golf course.
Apart from the 1800 villas, the plan also includes 400 town houses, complementing the golf and equestrian themes of the development. Part of these townhouses and villas will be for sale.
Decicated to golf
The golf element will be at the heart of the initial development planning. The new 7200 yard green "Palms" course is capable of hosting international tournaments and complements the course at Emirates Hills.
The new project will also have a dedicated, 6400-yard course desert golf course, which has been designed by a well-known desert golf specialist. The unusual desert course is a symbiosis of desert and golf - offering every player a unique experience.
Both courses are announced to be on a pay per play basis. Other golfing facilities will include a driving range and practice areas, a clubhouse, golf academy and offices.
Mr. Ahmad Ramdan, Chief Operating Officer of EMAAR Properties said: "This magnificent new project brings an exciting new leisure and residential concept to Dubai which uniquely incorporates the natural beauty of our desert landscape as a focal feature in the development.
"It will also provide a specially designed desert golf course that will be an affordable, accessible facility that will have its own academy. We believe that this project will assist Dubai in becoming an even stronger centre of international golfing excellence - offering an unusual and exciting golf experience to anyone who loves the game."
Arabian Ranches - luxury blended into traditional design
Mr. Ramdan explained that the Equestrian Centre would be the heart of the project's residential development, known as Arabian Ranches. This integrated equestrian community will have 1800 villas in varying sizes and designs that will be available for both purchase and rental, targeted to attracting members of Dubai's cosmopolitan expatriate business community as well as UAE and GCC residents.
The community would include a wide range of activities including riding trails for residents and visitors with bridle path links to the golf resort. Retail services, a private school district and a mosque will also be part of the planning offering residents a fully integrated community.
The luxury resort hotel is to be designed with a unique, traditional Arabic courtyard residence look and feel to create a unique desert atmosphere guest experience for both golfers and non-golfers alike in what will become one of Dubai's unique new master planned communities.
The new golf developments and the Arabian Ranches equestrian residential projects are the latest ambitious projects from EMAAR Properties who are playing a leading role in building the new dynamic Dubai of the future.
