The magazine constitutes a distinguished addition to the publications of SSPC. It also stands as a media product that addresses the highly-educated and well-cultured Arab women in search for a reference point on fashion, beauty, culture and living trends.

Madame Figaro is published in 12 languages and distributed in 32 countries worldwide.

The release of such licensed magazines by SSPC, establishes the company's strategic investment policy, which aims at enhancing its growth, and opening new markets for its latest media products.

The other magazines to be subsequently released would still form another distinctive addition to the overall set of publications issued by SRMG, while boosting its leading role as a pioneer content provider all over the region.

These projects strengthen the plans set by the Group to diversify the sources of its revenues, and help develop its investments and maximize its profit. Moreover, it stands witness to the group's endeavors to sustain its leading role as Arab media pioneers.

Within the same context, Dr. Azzam Al Dakheel, CEO of SRMG, clarified that the launch of Madame Figaro Arabia comes as part of SSPC's plan to reflect its media experience within an international perspective and enrich the content industry which targets both readers and advertisers, while taking into account the demands and needs of the Arab market, our professional standards and culture.

Al Dakheel added that the release of Madame Figaro Arabia marks a key contribution to SSPC licensed projects, which synchronizes with the company's efforts to issue Arabic versions of the 50 top international specialized magazines. The first step in this succession of licensed publications had already begun with the release of a number of Disney World magazines, both in Arabic and English. During the upcoming period, these would be followed by another set of magazines that meet the needs of most readers across the Arab world.

Mohammed Alomar, SSPC Executive Director, stated that the release of Madame Figaro Arabia comes in conformity with the company's strategic plan to issue these distinguished international publications, which managed to attract a large base of readership as well as advertisers; the sort of publications that offer a referential content which meets the readers' crave for knowledge and fulfills their cultural quest.

The new magazine, according to Alomar, addresses Arab affluent women who seek an ultimate reference on fashion, beauty, culture and modern lifestyle. Madame Figaro Arabia is a top cultural tool that enhances its readers' access to a diversified world of experiences.

Alomar also pointed out that the editorial approach provides a balanced content through presenting features of concern to the Arab reader, consolidated by carefully-selected French material, to be translated into Arabic. The exclusive aim of such content is to expose the target readers to a different cultural experience, which concurs with their own background.

A set of distinctive stories characterized the inaugural issue of Madame Figaro Arabia, including the cover story hosting Shaikha Mai Al Khalifa, the Bahraini Minister of Culture and Information. Another interview included in the issue hosted the Omani parliamentary figure Rheelah Al Reyami, as a third interviewed Nancy Bakir, the Jordanian minister of Public Sector Development.

Furthermore, the first issue, in an extended report, featured the main shopping capitals across the world and in the region as well. Various other topics on culture, beauty and fashion were present throughout the magazine.

Madame Figaro was launched in 1984, to become the leading French magazine that targets sophisticated, affluent and well-cultured women ever since. Madam Figaro was subsequently issued in various languages worldwide, latest of which is the Arabic version distributed all over the Arab world.
